Are you an educational leader or involved in educational innovation for primary, secondary or adult education?
Would you be interested in further developing your leadership competencies? Would you like to be able to apply a coherent set of strategies for improving the quality of your school or centre for adult education and would you like to turn it into a learning organisation?
If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then why don’t you come and join a challenging international seminar in a stimulating environment?
This seminar “Educational Quality” will be taking place in Costa da Caparica / Lisbon Beach<http://www.strawberryworld-lisbon.com/lisbon/places/costa-da-caparica.html> from May 27th to June 1st , 2012.
During the course you will learn about educational quality, quality management in education using the Appreciative Inquiry Method, methods for (self-)evaluation, how to prioritise and write an action plan, team dynamics and communication and editing your own plan for quality management.
Introducing educational quality, we emphasize two important axes:
- the content and organization of an educational quality system;
- the appreciative approach towards staff and co-operators.
You can request an EU Comenius or Grundtvig grant from your national agency which will allow you to attend this seminar for free. Course fee: € 1 360 covering tuition (€ 750) and full board accommodation (€ 610).

The seminar is open for all those, who are professionally involved in setting up or giving guidance to educational quality programmes and who want to work and reflect within a European context: principals, school heads or deputy heads, chiefs of department, coordinators, teachers involved in quality care, quality coordinators, quality development officers, in-service trainers, advisors or inspectors, ...
