Knowledge4Innovation and its Lisbon Forum will turn the European Parliament into an innovation showcase. The 1st European Innovation Summit will raise awareness particularly among Members of the European Parliament and discuss the issues relevant to the development of Europe's knowledge and innovation economy and society. The event will feature exhibitions, conference sessions, interviews, and networking opportunities. Special highlights include a ‘Welcome Reception’ for new and returning MEPs and a Plenary Session to which we invited EP President Mr. Buzek, Commission President Mr. Barroso and Commissioner Mr. Figel to address “Europe’s Future Nobel Prize Winners”. The event will gather policy makers from the EU institutions, Member States, regional organizations and networks, and stakeholders from the academic and private sectors.
