Douwe Breimer, Innovation Platform: Transformation of Dutch society starts with education

Douwe Breimer was one of the members of the Dutch cross sectoral Innovation Platform to advise nation wide about an Dutch Innovation Agenda (in english, the Knowledge Investment Agenda. In this article Douwe Breimer makes a point of if you want people to learn to excel you have to change the whole system in this way, especially its mentality and have to start early.

Douwe Breimer, was rector magnificus of the University of Leiden from 2001 until 2007 and in 2006 member of this Innovation Platform.
