Public consultation on the funding of grassroots sports
The European Commission has recently launched a study on the funding of grassroots sport in the 27 Member States. The study aims at analysing barriers to sport funding and identifying means of strengthening the development of grassroots sport across the European Union.
This public consultation represents a first step towards the study. It intends to allow everyone to give his/her opinion about the state of funding of grassroots sport in the EU. The deadline for the submission of replies is 31 January 2010.
