Thematic priorities
Priority will be given to actions that:
Types of activities:
· Skill development for children to analyse issues and contexts affecting their rights and well-being, as well as formulate and express informed opinions, including peer to peer training and initiatives.
· Dissemination of child-friendly information and diversification of access to information for children involving children from target groups as actors of information sharing, advocacy and communication in child participatory strategies and actions through appropriate channels, including media.
· Capacity building and strengthening of child-led and/or child participatory associations, movements and networks to form partnerships or alliances at local, national or regional level, or establishment of such structures if proven necessary.
· Strengthening or establishing of local, national and regional partnership, networks and cooperation of children with relevant stakeholders and duty bearers.
· Skill development for children to identify and sustain their representatives in policies, programmes, advocacy and follow-up process, including monitoring, evaluation and reporting.
· Development or scaling-up of successful approaches that strengthen the abilities of organised and representative children's constituencies to influence decision-making related to children rights or socio-economic issues affecting children's well-being.
· Development of innovative approaches to include children's participation in the preparatory, reporting and follow-up phases of the UNCRC country progress and alternative reports.
· Actions supporting the improvement of effective systems sustaining children in claiming their rights, including access and participation in complaint mechanisms and procedures, with special attention to children out-of-school, children living and/or working on the street and other most vulnerable and excluded groups of children.

· Enhanced understanding and analysis by children of issues affecting their rights, and their well-being; increased knowledge of their rights and better understanding of related challenges and opportunities.
· Increased access of children to information related to their rights, including increased child-friendly information and child-led communication.
· Increased capacity and skills of children to develop and lead innovative approaches, including advocacy actions, policy development and monitoring, in relation to the achievement of their rights and fulfilment of their needs, at local, national and regional level.
· Greater recognition and support of the added value of children's participation by stakeholders and duty-bearers of children's rights.
· Stronger and representative child-led and/or child participatory associations, movements and networks to form partnerships or alliances at local, national or regional level, effectively promoting the realisation of children's rights.
· Strengthened local, national and regional partnership, networks and cooperation of children with relevant stakeholders and duty bearers.
· Improved systems and mechanisms sustaining children in claiming their rights within a safe and protected environment.
· Improved children inclusion and participation in the preparatory, reporting and follow-up phases of the UNCRC country progress and alternative reports.
