The countries of the Middle East share a long history of civilization and education in languages like the Arabic language. Some say civilisation started when in the Middle east they started with agriculture, while at the same time developing cities and citystates/kingdoms. We could also say maybe that education started when people didn't only hunt & gather anymore.

The lands of what is called by the Europeans 'The Middle East' don't identif themselves as halfway the east from Europe to Asia. So maybe we should grow to another term, but that isn't easy.
