The Government and the Department of Education of the State of Puebla, the Office of Education and Culture of the Organization of American States (OEC / OAS), and the Foundation for the Integral Development of Indian Peoples and Rural Communities, AC,  invite  you to the First International Symposium: Initial and Basic Education for Children from Rural and Indigenous Populations, to be held in Puebla, Mexico from January 27 to 29 2010.  

The topic of early childhood and indigenous and rural communities in Latin America is continuously followed by the OAS, and since 2007, through the project "Trends in transition policies in Rural, Indigenous and Border Communities” which is supported by the Foundation Bernard Van Leer in the Netherlands.
