  What are the challenges faced by women representatives in political life?
• How do the categories of ethnicity and gender intersect in work-life?
• How has intimate life been transformed for those living outside of conventional families?
• What does citizenship mean for women from specific ethnic backgrounds?

At this seminar, FEMCIT researchers will present the key findings, drawing on their extensive research exploring six dimensions of citizenship: political, social, economic, ethnic/religious, bodily and intimate citizenship. The presentations will be followed by commentaries from a high profile panel of experts including:
