The present Call for Proposals aims to support further transnational cooperation aiming to strengthen the links between research, policy and practice in the wider field of education and training. The overall objective of this Call is to establish a transnational European network of organisations which will develop and maintain effective and robust "knowledge brokerage" mechanisms in the field of education and training. Evidence-based policy and practices require making knowledge available, accessible and understandable for policy-makers and practitioners. It is also necessary to actively engage the stakeholders in the process, so that knowledge is disseminated and applied.

FAQ

1) Will there be only ONE network be funded under this call or may the Commission again select more projects (as it was the case in 2009)?

The Commission envisages to select one project. However, the Commission reserves the right to change this arrangement according to the quantity and quality of applicants.

2) What is the expected relation between the existing/ongoing networks (Call 2009) and the new network?

The existing networks that will be completed end 2010 or beginning 2011 are independent from the new call.
